Ray Long FCA FCCA
Ray’s extensive and diverse experience has proved invaluable to our clients in helping them deal with a whole range of problems that they face as a business owner , whether that be in a corporate or personal capacity.
Unlike many accountants in practice, he has substantial commercial experience having been the Finance Director to a £30m plus turnover IT Recruitment Company as well as serving on the Board of Directors of a number of Companies in a wide range of Industries.
Ray’s broad range of experience coupled with perhaps his unusual and direct approach allows him to help clients tackle whatever business problems or opportunities they may come up against.
His analytical review of business situations allows him to consider all of the possible outcomes, projecting them through to the most likely and logical conclusion before presenting our clients with an objective view of the issues on which to base their own decision with as many of the potential opportunities and pitfalls identified.
So whether these problems are of a day to day nature or a more complicated issue such as the sale or purchase of a business, then Ray and his team will be there ready to guide you through the process.
Sarah Long
Sarah is not only the Practice administrator but also operates our computerised accounting and payroll bureau Munday Long Accounting Services Limited.
Terry Jones
Terry is a senior manager and heads up our accounts department. He was persuaded in 1997 to team up again with Ray having previously worked together back in the mid 80’s. He is a very experienced accountant and is quite used to helping clients deal with their accounting issues in a practical and proactive manner. He is the firm’s resident Sage and Excel expert.
Muhammad Yousaf FCCA
Muhammad heads up our audit department as well as working alongside Ray on projects and with Terry on accounting issues for clients. He is the firm’s resident expert on accounting software packages such as Quickbooks and Xero.
Eileen Murphy
Eileen heads up the personal tax department and will help you in keeping your tax affairs under control. She will help you in completing your personal tax returns and reminding you of when and how much you will need to pay.
Jenny Hunt
Jenny joined the team in 1991 as Ray’s secretary and has been supporting him and the rest of the team since then. She also is responsible for dealing with the statutory affairs of our corporate clients.
Heather Jahn
Heather is the latest member of the team and helps clients with their bookkeeping and VAT affairs.
